The Fundamental Mastery process’ exploration of methods of self-reflection organically leads individuals to gaining awareness and insight. With this insight, actions are then aligned with the intended outcome or goal. FM’s tailored measures of appropriate support allow for signs and signals to be clearly assessed resulting in a seamless evaluation process.

This (anonymous, if desired) workplace culture survey allows for heightened awareness around some of the strengths within your workplace as well as some of the challenges that, when overcome, can lead you toward more satisfaction, success, efficiency and productivity as well as assist with employee morale.

Executive Coaching: By walking through the 7 step process, Donna helps leaders identify and tackle challenges that are holding them back from achieving their vision and clearing the way for success. One -on-one coaching programs generally consist of 10 one hour sessions.

Manager Workshops: In a multi-session training, Donna leads groups of management employees through the 7 steps collectively, and offers additional support through targeted one-on-one sessions. Through the training, managers are given the tools to set and meet goals, improve effectiveness, and learn how to improve the morale and effectiveness of their teams and direct reports.

Manager One-on-One Coaching: Apply the same framework to management staff and empower them to tackle specific challenges they are facing.

Can you relate?

Anyone who is in education can most assuredly attest to the fact that the pendulum continues to swing. There’s nothing wrong with change. However, appropriate change aligned with the correctly identified problem is often what’s missing when districts bump from one program to another, each pitching well-intentioned solutions to “fix” whatever the perceived current issue.

The desired end result may be raising student scores, turning the dial up on the number of at-risk students that make it to their intended graduation years, or finding solutions that will allow the district as a whole to reach state and federal requirements and mandates.

All great intentions. Yet, in the midst of such worthy quests, kudos must be given to those that are wholeheartedly attempting to find the right key to unlock the desired success and attain the intended goal(s). The result of these well intentioned yet misaligned actions can be heard and seen in the palpability of the morale of those valuable veteran teachers and educators sitting in the back rows of auditoriums on the initial workshop days of a new school year. Some utter comments under their breath in response to implementing yet another “new” program while others more quietly deliver their internal rebuttals, unheard but clearly seen in their body language. Their lack of buy-in isn’t all that preposterous.

These are the same individuals who care so deeply about the quality of the difference they can make in their students’ lives but often are disheartened and exhausted when being asked to learn, organize, and implement yet another program that may not even hit the target of issues that seem so obvious to them from the front of their classrooms and as they maneuver between the tables, chairs in their quests to reach every student.

Turnover rates in education are skyrocketing…in some districts more than others. This leads to a whole new dilemma for districts that is less student-focused and more staff-focused as many quality educators are walking away leaving the burden of those who remain to mentor and train new hires while at the same time continuing to uphold their already full schedules.

Whether budgetary issues, staff management concerns, or ineffective evaluative methods, the FM process’ trademarked and copyrighted Alignment Assessment brings clarity and offers next steps. The assessment identifies for administrators how best to restructure by providing individualized information regarding how staff members best attain & retain information, their most productive work environment for maximizing potential, and the most effective evaluative methods for assessing their knowledge, growth, and effectiveness. The outcome is increased productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness as well as improved staff/student morale ~ all playing a role in raising the quality of student education, maximizing potential, and attaining goals.
