A Time for Change & A Call for Flexibility

For those of you who have been following me over the past several years, you can attest to the fact that when I have something to say, I will blog.  What you may not know but may have inferred from the lack or inconsistency of blog posts is that when I have something to say but no time to say it, I may not update my blog for months!Behind the scenes, there have been a great number or changes taking place for me in my professional realm.  As this blog post's title implies, when changes are in force, I've found flexibility is a must for me in order to keep any bit of residual sanity in tact. This post today is to let my followers know that, though this blog was once dedicated strictly to posts aimed at the topic of abuse, going forward it will incorporate information  helpful not only to those who've been impacted in some way by abuse, but also to those who have been dealing with any other traumatic occurance as well as the stressors of every day life.In my Peace of Mind Alternative Therapy practice, I work with a multitude of clients who, on one level or another, are impacted in the present moment of day-to-day living by triggers within the mind and body (and yes, spirit) that belong to the past.  However removed those past experiences were, if present day stressors activate those "triggers", behavoirs and dis-ease (anger, resentment, fear, guilt, shame, etc) that you thought you'd dealt with can easily creep back up and cause disappointment and frustration. On a different note, these past "triggers" can keep you from living your purpose, dream or at your highest potential.  They can keep you from simply living a life of joy that is readily available to those who yearn for it.That said, my own life can attest to the fact that it isn't always easy and by no means will the rose-colored glasses  take away the reality of what could be uncovered when you begin to authentically live life at a higher level of being.  At the same time, my life CAN attest to the fact that awareness is key and knowledge is powerful.  I can't do the work FOR you but I can work WITH you.  My hope is that in presenting information within this blog about varying topics (useful to both abuse survivors and "life" survivors), you will be encouraged to manifest that which you desire whether on a large or small scale; it is a personal preference. So, that said, I invite you to continue to follow my posts and am hopeful you will find a "nugget" of information within each to propel you in a direction beneficial for you and who you are as an individual within the vast the scheme of life!Wishing you all the best!
